The Gingerbread Man

At a party celebrating a legal victory defending a cop killer, Mallory Doss realizes her car has been stolen. After a few drinks, Magruder offers to drive her home, which leads into a one-night stand. Rick quickly discovers that her insane father, Dixon, has re-entered her life. Afraid of losing his job, Rick subpoenas Mallory's obstinate ex-husband, Pete, to testify against the old guy. Dixon is hospitalized. But he flees, endangering the lives of all those who conspired against him.
