The Fundamentals of Caring

In order to supplement his income after experiencing a catastrophe, Ben works as a caregiver. Trevor, his first client, is a lovable 18-year-old with muscular dystrophy who makes him laugh. Ben and Trevor, one emotionally paralyzed and the other physically disabled, set out on a road trip through the western states. It is the people they meet along the road that will help them put their survival skills to the test in a world outside of their planned life. They learn together the value of hope and the necessity of true friendship as they journey through the world together.
