Ollie has a crush on a woman, and he wants to marry her. Then, when he finds out that she's already married, he tries to die. Even though the boys don't take their own lives, the Foreign Legion is a good way for them to get away from their problems. In the end, they are arrested because they tried to leave the Legion and flee the firing squad by taking a plane.
