The Flight of the Eagle

S. A. Andrée, a 19th-century Swedish engineer, aims to become the first person to reach the North Pole. Together with two pals, he plans to use a hydrogen balloon to launch a polar trip. The "Eagle" balloon sets off from Svalbard in1897, but the three men on board are never heard from again.
