The Day After

Midway through the 1980s, the United States is on the verge of nuclear war. This shadow hangs over the citizens of a Kansas hamlet as they go about their daily lives. Denise Dahlberg is preparing for her approaching wedding, while Stephen Klein is immersed in his PhD studies. When the unthinkable occurs and the bombs fall, the residents of the town are forced to endure the horrors of nuclear winter.
