Hannes, a ten-year-old growing up with his young, impoverished, and single mother, aspires to become a member of the Vorstadtkrokodile, the coolest gang in his neighborhood. Kai, who is keen to join as well but is confined to a wheelchair and unable to flee when the going gets tough, saves Hannes' life when the "entrance test" goes awry. Even though Hannes is willing to embrace Kai, the rest of the gang does not appear to be as enthusiastic about accepting a disabled member. At long last, Kai has something to say. A business is robbed one night, and Kai uses his telescope to spot the culprits. The Crocodiles are looking for him because he has some crucial information they need to find the robbers and collect the € 1000 reward. With the addition of their new member, the Crocodiles will embark on a massive and risky trip.
