The Captive Heart
In a five-year period, nine men's lives and loves are chronicled. Shooting in the occupied region of Germany adds authenticity. To keep his identity hidden from the Nazis, Hasek (Redgrave) poses as a dead English officer and corresponds with the officer's widow. Following their liberation, they decide to stay together.
