Julien (Sami Frey), a charming and beautiful man, marries Barbara (Jane Birkin). Paul (Gérard Jugnot), Barbara's old flame, is skeptical of Julien. Julien's previous two marriages died in questionable circumstances, and he amassed a sizable insurance payout as a result. Paul can't ignore his concerns, so he joins Barbara and Julien on their honeymoon in Morocco, determined to protect the woman he still loves.
