This drive-in favorite science fiction classic follows Steve and his closest friend Jane as they attempt to defend their hometown against a gelatinous alien life form that consumes everything it touches. Steve and Jane are the first to find the substance and survive to tell the tale. They observe the blob destroying an elderly man and growing to a scary size. But no one else has seen the slime, and Dave refuses to believe the children without proof.
