Colonel Kenneth Penmark and his wife, Christine, as well as their lonesome landlady, Monica Breedlove, dote over their daughter, Rhoda. However, self-centered Rhoda has a hidden propensity for selfishness and enjoys accumulating things in her room, whether they are given or stolen.
