Under therapeutic hypnotherapy, an apparently well-adjusted young woman informs a fantastic tale, validated by lie detector, of her failed to remember marital relationship to a male who went away on the day of their honeymoon, and of her search for him which takes her to a lonesome manor in a remote section of swampland tenanted by snakes, alligators, a drunken one-armed lout, a strange physician, as well as a cold-hearted senior woman who lives alone in a brooding manse.
