Sweet Smell of Success

With his Broadway column, New York City newspaper writer J.J. Hunsecker has a lot of power over how people feel, but he can't change the fact that his younger sister Susan is dating aspiring jazz guitarist Steve Dallas. Hunsecker is very against the relationship, so he hires publicist Sidney Falco to find a way to break them up, no matter how cruel it is.
