As a 22-year-old, Eileen is still bitter about her breakup with Russ. She comes to New York to see her brother, Adam, who is a pilot for an airplane. : Eileen tells her brother that, if she's right, she might be the only 22-year-old virgin in the world. In this scene, Adam says that sex isn't what all men want. He also says that he hasn't slept with other women. Adam, of course, is lying. He wants to have a tryst with his girlfriend, Mona, but he doesn't want to be alone with her. Adam's date with Mona, on the other hand, has a lot of work-related snags. It's also possible that Eileen is having fun in New York. She decides to see if she can have some fun on her own there. She meets Mike while riding the bus. But when Russ comes in with a proposal and a false assumption, things get more complicated than they need to be.
