Summer of '67

These difficult times and the challenges experienced by those affected by the Vietnam War are vividly depicted in Summer of 1967, which is based on real-life events. Gerald (Cameron Gilliam) is on duty aboard the USS Forrestal when his young wife Milly (Rachel Schrey) is forced to reside with her mother-in-law for the duration of his deployment. Her high school beau Peter (Christopher Dalton) is urging Bethany (Bethany Davenport) to make a decision between him and Van (Sam Brooks), her current hippy boyfriend. Ruby Mae (Sharonne Lanier) meets Reggie (Jerrold Edwards) and they fall in love, but Reggie is quickly snatched away by the draft. Even if their man returns, will their life ever be the same?
