Storm Over Asia
In1918, a European capitalist fur merchant defrauds a youthful and naive Mongol herder and trapper of a prized fox fur. He flees the trading post after brawling with the trader who defrauded him. In 1920, he joins the Soviet partisans and assists them in fighting the invading British troops on behalf of the Soviets. He is however apprehended by the British when they attempt to requisition cattle from the herdsmen concurrently with the commandant's meeting with a reborn Grand Lama. The army discovers an amulet after the trapper is shot, indicating he is a direct descendant of Genghis Khan. They discover he is still alive, and the army intends to employ him as the head of a puppet regime. Thus, the trapper is elevated to prominence when he is appointed head of the puppet government. By the end, the "puppet" has turned against his masters in a fit of rage.
