Storm - Letter of Fire

The film takes place in Antwerp in1521, during the early years of the Reformation in a Europe plagued by religious warfare. Falko Voeten, a twelve-year-old printer's kid, is the protagonist of the novel. When Falko's father, Klaas Voeten, a forbidden literature printer, is apprehended by the Inquisition for printing a letter by Maarten Luther, Falko is unknowingly pulled into assisting his father and hunting for the letter. Falko is in a race against time to save his father from being hanged for heresy, aided by Marieke, a Catholic orphan girl from the beneath sewers.
