An Alabama heir to the Birmingham family is played by actor Jeff Bridges as he becomes embroiled in an esoteric real-estate deal. A gym facility is needed to finish a multi-parcel property in order to seal the deal. Instead of working out with his friend (Arnold Schwarzenegger) he runs into Sally Field (Sally Field), the gym receptionist, who sparks his interest in bodybuilding and the carefree life of "Joe Santo" (Arnold Schwarzenegger).
