After a difficult period in his life, Adolfo, a thirty-something security guard, is facing a difficult time now. But it's not just that his long-term lover has recently declared him to be an unmotivated jerk; additionally, his home is the target of an attack by a band of thugs commanded by Vásquez, a violent criminal who has recently escaped from prison. In addition, he learns that his father has two identities. Rather than being a farmer involved in the manufacture of cold meat –as Adolfo has always assumed he is–he is Anacleto, an undercover agent who is feeling a little depressed and who was responsible for putting Vázquez in prison thirty years earlier. The only way to survive Vazquez's vengeance is for Adolfo to leave his comfort zone and collaborate with his father, the guy with whom Adolfo gets along the worst in the world, all the while trying to get his ex-girlfriend back in between shootouts and chases.
