Spring Eddy

This Chicago thief who likes to pull off ridiculous schemes is on the run. After stealing from his boss, Eddy flees to Mexico, but is distracted by a beautiful hitchhiker on the road. What begins as an innocent tryst ends with Eddy battered, broken down, and impoverished in Wynot, Texas. With Willet Nash, the county's all-powerful Sheriff in sight, Eddy is forced to flee after accidentally witnessing one of his murders. His foolhardy escape plan backfires when Nash sees him in action. In order for Eddy to get out of jail, his only hope is his ex-fiancée Jeannie, who was jilted by him at the altar in Chicago.
