Spider Baby

This is the story of a family of inbreeds who have a genetic disorder called 'Merrye syndrome.' It is named after the family in which the disorder first came to light. Starting at the age of ten, this disease causes its victims to go back in time and lose years of their lives. This makes them think like a child. When a greedy branch of the family decides that they want to take the family's home away from them, the family chauffeur (Lon Chaney Jr.) takes care of them. It has always been, and will always be, interesting to watch horror movies about mental illness because it looks into the unknown. Spider Baby makes the best use of that.
