Sophie's Choice

When Stingo, an aspiring novelist, moves to Brooklyn in1947, he intends to begin writing his first book. As he gets to know Sophie and Nathan, he discovers she is a Holocaust survivor. When we see her in the pre-war years, she is in a much better place. Currently, as Stingo gets closer and closer to Sophie and Nathan, their unstable mental state becomes increasingly apparent.
