Archie is an overworked retiree, and he can't understand why his wife Marion would want to make a spectacle of herself by singing stupid tunes with her outlandish neighborhood choir. Although Arthur is a reluctant participant, choir director Elizabeth recognizes something wonderful in him and is determined not to give up on him. As she gently coaxes him out of his shell, Arthur comes to learn that it is never too late to make a positive difference.
