Batman discovers that he has a violent, unruly pre-teen son called Damian Wayne with Talia al Ghul, who is being secretly nurtured by Ra's al Ghul and the League of Assassins. When Ra's al Ghul ostensibly dies in a confrontation with Deathstroke, Batman must work to prevent his long-lost son from exacting revenge and guide him to the noble path, in addition to the opportunity for the two to finally recognize each other as family.
