Mara is an introverted and eccentric woman who spends her days creating props for films. However, her withdrawn demeanor conceals an inward rage. Mara, terrified of being alone, refuses to let her loves depart, sadistically murdering them and preserving their corpses as living toys. When she is hired by Kat, a budding producer, the two immediately click. Mara's already tenuous grasp on reality begins to erode as their friendship becomes more heated. Mara descends into psychosis as her dolls begin demanding all of her attention and Kat threatens to shatter her heart.
