Dave has been having a good time until he gets an invite to an old girlfriend's wedding. Because Beth broke up with him a long time ago, Dave knows that they're meant to be together. Dave decides to go on a quest to save Beth from certain death by boredom, restore balance to the universe, and maybe enjoy some great skiing. Dave convinces his friends to join him on his journey to make things right, and they agree.
