Six Pack
When an itinerant race car driver pulls up in a little Texas town, he discovers that his stock car, which is towed behind his mobile home on a trailer, has been stripped quickly and professionally. He pursues the criminals, who turn out to be six orphaned children. He has little legal remedy because the unscrupulous local sheriff collects the majority of their theft income in exchange for not placing kids in an orphanage. They're charming rogues who are charmed in turn by him. They stow away with him since they don't like their arrangement with the sheriff, and he ends up as a reluctant stepfather. He begins to establish a reputation for himself on the racing circuit thanks to their enthusiasm and outstanding mechanical knowledge. The sheriff, on the other hand, is not pleased with the loss of his additional revenue...
