Sandi Tan and her enigmatic American mentor Georges shot Singapore's first indie road movie in1992, and then Georges vanished with all the footage. The 16mm film is discovered 20 years later, prompting Tan, now a novelist in Los Angeles, to embark on a personal quest to find Georges' vanishing footprints.
