Ship of Fools

Passengers on a ship heading from Mexico to Europe in the 1930s are a microcosm of the whole population at the time. Dr. Schumann, the ship's doctor, falls in love with one of the passengers, La Condesa. Traveling with a man she loves, Jenny is a young American woman. When Jenny sees some of the other passengers, she's both captivated and perplexed by their backgrounds.
