Shadow Game
The experimentally shot film Shadow Game depicts the far-reaching effects of European asylum policy. In light of the recent erection of fences around Europe, it is nearly impossible to claim asylum at this time. The teens travel through cold terrain and encounter hostile border patrol agents. The journey to their final objective is more challenging than ever. Their travels lead them all over Europe, from Greece to North Macedonia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and then on to Italy, France, and the Netherlands. Over the course of three years, the film was shot primarily using the protagonists' personal mobile devices.
