During the Stolen Generations, the Australian government abducted and forced into domestic servitude tens of thousands of Aboriginal girls. Abuse and rape, as well as slavery, formed an inescapable cycle in their life due to the entire control they had over their movements, earnings, and living conditions. The ramifications of their existence are still felt today.
