In a troubled Eastern European country, armed insurgents attempt a coup, and the president flees to the US embassy for protection. When the US ambassador is assassinated by the ruthless and gun-toting rebels, it is up to the embassy's second-in-command, Sam Keenan, played by Belgian kickboxer Jean-Claude Van Damme, to defend the besieged.
