Romeo y Julieta
The tranquility of Verona is shattered by the feud between two noble families: the Capuleto and the Montesco. Both families have persisted in their efforts to make life in the Italian village intolerable by continuing their feud. The Prince of Verona explains to the elders that if there are any more conflicts between the two families, they will reply with their lives. Juliet, the daughter of Capuleto, meets Romeo, the son of Montesco, at a ball in her honor. Both are instantly smitten, oblivious to the impossibility of their relationship.
