Robinson Crusoe

After killing his companion over Mary's love, Robinson Crusoe escapes Britain on a ship. His ship is sunk by a strong ocean storm, leaving him alone on an unknown island. Crusoe is left to fend for himself on the island, and until he encounters Friday, a tribesman whom he saves from being sacrificed, he tries to make a meager living. Crusoe is first overjoyed to have found a companion, but he must protect himself against a tribe that uses the island to sacrifice tribesmen to their gods. Despite their cultural and religious differences, their relationship gradually shifts from master-slave to mutually appreciated companionship.
