Leon S. Kennedy, a US federal agent, sneaks into the "East Slavic Republic" to confirm claims that Bio-Organic Weapons (BOWs) are being used in the country's civil war, which the US and Russia are preparing to interfere in together. The US government orders him to leave immediately following his infiltration. Leon defies the command and enters the battlefield to put an end to the sequence of tragedies created by the BOWs.
