When their father is slain, three brothers travel to a mountain river in Oregon to scatter his ashes. One of their children goes missing shortly after they arrive. One of the brothers was taken himself 30 years ago when they were on the same river trip, but he has managed to keep the memory out of his mind since the occurrence occurred. This is the only way they will be able to locate the child: by delving deep into his psyche.
