Purgatory Road
Travis grows up hating himself for his parents' suicide, unable to stop a burglar from stealing his father's meager nest money. He becomes a priest and runs a roadside confessional with his ambivalent brother, Michael, offering wise counsel to selected sinners while raining death on unrepentant thieves. Mary Francis, a crazy young woman with psychopathic inclinations, enters the realm of this adversarial couple, assassinating a burglar who threatens to expose the definitely unholy siblings. Travis allows the woman into their holy realm, sparking a chain of carnage-filled events that threatens to shatter the brothers' brutal, decades-long friendship.
