Punk's Dead is a punk adventure across the Utah hinterlands, and it's the sequel to the cult smash SLC Punk from 1999. Young outsiders Ross, Penny, and Crash, from separate tribes, embark on a road journey to a massive punk performance. Trish and Heroin Bob had a love child named Ross, who died before he was born. Ross shreds his darkly Gothic outlook and embraces life on their journey, with the help of a healthy mix of drugs, drink, and punk music. Trish, Ross's single mother who reared him in her steam punk store, realizes that he is in trouble. She enlists the help of his 'uncles,' Bob's old SLC gang, to track him down. When they all meet at the concert, they are forced to confront their unresolved feelings for Bob.
