Predatory Moon
Kyle Reading is a zoologist who has been researching wild animal attacks across the country in the hopes of developing methods to prevent them. Kyle launches his own investigation after a young boy is allegedly killed by a bear in Florida. He quickly shifts his focus to Dean Clout, the child's uncle, who miraculously survived the vicious attack. Dean, who is notorious for being the town drunk, remembers very little of his encounter with the bear. He was found unconscious in the woods, and all he remembers is that he and the boy were left there by a friend who went to run an errand and never returned.
