The Kingdom of the People of the Vale once controlled the nation, but today the Sword of the Vale stands alone in Eindoak. During a harvest festival's Pokémon Tournament, Ash, Iris, and Cilan meet the legendary Pokémon Victini, who seeks to share its victory abilities with someone. A descendant of the People of the Vale named Damon has arrived in the city, attempting to resurrect the kingdom's power with the Sword of the Vale, and Ash and his allies must stop him before he destroys the earth with Victini.
