Pat and Mike

Pat Pemberton is a brilliant athlete, except when her domineering fiancé is present. The ladies' golf championship is within her grasp until she becomes agitated by his presence on the final holes. He wants them to get married and forget about it all, but she can't give up on herself that easily. She enlists the assistance of Mike Conovan, a slightly shady sports promoter. Together, they must deal with mobsters, a jealous boxer, and a growing mutual attraction.
