When Bruce Chatwin, the great writer and explorer, was dying of AIDS, his friend and collaborator Werner Herzog paid him a final visit to say goodbye. Chatwin offered Herzog the knapsack he'd carried around the world as a parting gift. Thirty years later, Herzog sets out on his own adventure, carrying the rucksack, inspired by Chatwin's passion for the nomadic existence.
