Christopher Gill is a crazy killer who preys on unsuspecting victims by dressing in various disguises and strangling them. Moe Brummel is a single and harassed New York City police investigator who begins to receive phone calls from the strangler and, as a result, forms an unusual partnership with the criminal. After witnessing the strangler exiting her deceased neighbor's apartment, Kate Palmer sets her eyes on the detective. Kate Palmer is a swinging, hip tour guide. Moe's live-in mother hopes that her kid would follow in the footsteps of his older brother, who is a prominent Jewish doctor.
