Sam has a habit of making poor choices. He's a single, jaded computer hacker who isn't allowed to use the internet. Forced to sleep on his brother's couch, he scrapes by working at the neighborhood Twistee Treat and stealing mail while impersonating a postal worker. Then, all of a sudden, a solitary pink envelope arrives. Josie's touching missive to her late husband and fallen Marine, handwritten by a heartbroken Josie, stirs something in Sam. He plots to meet the lovely young war widow, desiring to become a better guy, in order to be worthy of such love. She warms to the thought of a second chance at love as the two grow closer, but not before Sam's past reappears in the guise of an FBI agent on the hunt for missing bitcoins.
