Ninth Happiness

The villagers of Choi Hung sing and labor, demonstrating their innocence. Chi Wan, the town's beauty, discovers a stranger in the woods and falls in love with him, believing he is a fairy. He pursues her while concealing his true identity, seeking counsel from her sister, Heung, who suggests he purchase a fan for Chi Wan. Chi Wan and Heung's lover, Dup, mistakenly believe that the stranger and Heung had a romantic relationship, resulting in the eruption of misplaced jealousy.
