Never Cry Wolf

They show how Farley Mowat went to the Canadian tundra to look for evidence that the wolf population was doing a lot of damage to caribou herds, and how he was sent there to look for that evidence. A man who lives in a hard place has to study the animals in order to stay alive. The old beliefs about wolves and their supposed threat are almost entirely wrong. It turns out that humans are a bigger threat to the land and also to wolves, which play an important role in the ecosystems of northern places.
