Need for Speed

The main character in the movie is a local street racer who teams up with a rich and cocky business partner, only to be framed by his partner and sent to prison. When he gets out, he joins a race from New York to Los Angeles to get his revenge. But when the ex-partner finds out about the plan, he puts a huge bounty on the racer's head and forces him to run a cross-country gauntlet of illegal racers in all kinds of supercharged vehicles.
