When Teela's sister is killed and a powerful relic is stolen, Marek and her friends face a dangerous new enemy: Kishkumen, a foreign mystic who wants to get the Darkspore back for his master Szorlok. Marek and her team race Kishkumen and his army through lands full of monsters to a long-abandoned underground city. All the while, Marek is being chased by bounty hunters who want to sell her back into slavery.
