My Week with Marilyn

The legendary actor Sir Laurence Olivier is now working on a film in London. Colin Clark, a young film student who is eager to participate, wants to be involved, and he manages to get a job working on the set. When Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe shows up in London to begin filming, the entire city is giddy with anticipation to catch a glimpse of the blonde bombshell. Meanwhile, Olivier is having a difficult time keeping up with all of her acting demands, while Colin is fascinated by her. Marilyn's decision to let Colin into her private world, where she battles her insecurities about her popularity, her beauty, and her ambition to be a great actor, is what initially piques Colin's interest.
