Mr. & Mrs. Smith

As a married couple living in New York, Ann and David Smith are doing well. Ann asks David one morning if he'd marry her again if he had to do it all over again. Her surprise is shattered when he tells her that he wouldn't. Later that day, they each discover that they are not legally married due to a snag in their three-year marriage. After a beautiful supper, Ann does not tell this to David, believing that he will remarry her the following night. An angry David is kicked out of their home when this does not happen.
