Milada
Milada Horáková's experience as a victim of a communist show trial. Horáková was one of the first martyrs of Czechoslovakia's communist rule. She was an opponent of the communist coup in 1948 but remained in the country. She was arrested and prosecuted for treason on bogus accusations in a mock trial broadcast on radio and portrayed in film excerpts. The film is set between 1945 and 1950, during the communist takeover, but also delves into Horáková's life in the late 1930s.
